Senior Accountant

This Senior Accountant role is within the Payroll Accounting team of the People Financial Services organization. Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:

• General ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Supporting 1
  
  LMX S4 ledger implementation and the development of new processes/internal controls
• SOX internal controls adherence, documentation and reviews
• Process documentation, improvements, and automation efforts
• Providing backup support to several team processes such as Sundry administration, wire approvals, daily/weekly bank file balancing, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelors level degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field
• Demonstrated senior level accounting and analytical skills, as evident and confirmed through related work experience
• Ability to independently and successfully research and solve issues
• Quick learner with aptitude for various systems and processes
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment through collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to focus on customers  needs and provide effective support to partners and customers
• SAP experience
• Advanced level proficiency in Excel

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
