JOB SUMMARYThe Global Administrative Assistant fills an essential and diverse role providing department support and organization as well as customer service to enhance Global operations. The position requires a high level of administrative skills the ability to service many internal details related to expense and ministry reporting related to One More Child’s missions and child sponsorship programs, ensuring departmental expectations and deadlines are met on a routine basis.
The ability to effectively interact cross-departmentally with OMC staff, as well as with external partners, are also a core aspect of the position. This will require knowledge of all aspects of our ministry, communicating confidence in our abilities, advocating for those in need, and inspiring others to join in our global work.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, trip participants, and all others seeking involvement with the Global program. This may include: answering and directing phone calls; greeting and direct visitors or volunteers; providing necessary updates to assigned parties through email, phone, and/or databases.
- Complete and process expense and ministry reports, while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Support the missions program by coordinating and helping secure travel logistics for individuals, groups and/or staff, including but not limited to hotel and flight accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Provide support as needed, with procedures necessary for travel, such as passports, visas and other documentation. When necessary, work with global partners to secure visas.
- Ensure that logistical needs are met within the constraints of the organizational budget, demonstrating effective stewardship of all resources and approving expenses.
- Assist in assigned research and writing initiatives that will increase efficiency and enhance the integrity of our international work programmatically.
- Neatly collect, maintain, and share global impact stories, numbers, and metrics to ensure timely delivery.
- Support One More Child’s Global leadership team, as needed.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings both virtual and in person, as required.

- Advanced education
- Experience in clerical field
- Experience working with various software and database systems like Microsoft, Asana, and CRMs.
- Knowledge and practice of Spanish, both written and spoken
