A well‑established mid‑sized general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on water and wastewater treatment facility projects in the Lakeland, FL region.
The firm has built a strong reputation delivering technically complex municipal infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and utility systems. They offer the resources and project scale of a large contractor while maintaining the accessibility, collaboration, and speed of decision‑making that comes with a mid‑sized organization.
Compensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $120,000 – $160,000+ depending on experience.

- Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractors to ensure milestones are achieved
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and quality control
- Coordinate inspections, subcontractor work, and material deliveries
- Resolve field challenges and maintain project productivity
- Maintain accurate daily reports and jobsite documentation
- Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and municipal requirements
- 5+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience in construction
- Experience on water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or municipal utility infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil or municipal construction practices
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage complex jobsite schedules
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high safety and quality standards on active construction sites
