A bit about us:A well-established and financially stable general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support its growing portfolio of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Florida.

The firm specializes in construction management, design-build, and negotiated projects for public and private clients.

This is a high-impact estimating position where you will work closely with operations leaders, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and conceptual budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for water and wastewater treatment plant projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid leveling
- Analyze plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Coordinate closely with project management and field operations teams
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
- Develop conceptual budgets during early project planning
- Support proposal preparation and client presentations
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors in the utilities market
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating water / wastewater treatment projects
- Background with municipal or public infrastructure projects
- Experience with process mechanical, concrete structures, utilities, and civil scopes
