Position SummaryResponsible for providing leadership and for management of the human, material and financial resources of the assigned department, insuring that the department operations are in alignment with the goals and objectives of LRH. Consistently achieves the expected results at the appropriate level as outlined in LRH s leadership competencies.

- Manages human, material and financial resources so that department goals and objectives are achieved, including department specific and organizational dashboard measures and corporate priorities.
- Diagnoses patients by evaluating symptoms to determine the health condition.
- Prescribes medications after determining the patient s health condition and medical history.
- Advises patients on compliance with therapeutic regimens and risk factors.
- Promotes and participates in activities that demonstrate safety and satisfaction for patients, customers and employees.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills; works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient wellbeing and optimum outcomes; delegates work as necessary and promotes collaboration.
- Provides patients, families and team members with relevant healthcare education and instructions regarding appropriate care information.
- Provide scope of services within field of training/specialty, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance.
Essential:
- Strong planning and organization, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and coaching/staff development skills.
- Adheres to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
Nonessential:
- Excellent computer skills.
- Maintain an affiliation with professional groups, medical associations, and medical organizations based on specialty.
- Master Degree
- MD, DO, Graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Basic Life Support
