This is a full-time role for an Assistant Teacher at Mi Escuela Montessori. The Assistant Teacher will support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans, assist with educational activities, and supervise children to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities include facilitating a structured environment that supports children’s academic and social development, helping with hands-on learning activities, and maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
This is an on-site role based in Lakeland, FL.
- Experience in Assistant Teaching and Working With Children
- Strong Communication skills and collaborative abilities
- Basic understanding or background in Education and Mathematics
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for fostering educational development
- Organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in early childhood education or teaching are a plus
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is a plus
