Assist students in grades K–3 with reading practice and literacy activities
Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence
Follow lesson plans and guidance provided by YReads staff
Help students with pronunciation, comprehension, and vocabulary
Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Communicate student progress or concerns to program coordinators
Training & Support:
Orientation and training provided by YMCA staff
Ongoing support and resources available

Passion for working with children and supporting education
Strong reading and communication skills

Time Commitment:
