Job Summary:
The S.I.M. (Simulation Instruction Multimedia) Lab at Florida Polytechnic University is a diverse and active innovation lab that serves students, academic affairs, and the University community. The Instructional Multimedia Manager supports high-quality teaching and learning by designing engaging and interactive content for online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face courses. This role collaborates with faculty and staff to develop effective online, and face‑to‑face learning experiences, aligning with best practices in instructional design.
The manager will facilitate the needs of the S.I.M. Lab in the development of projects and materials that fit the needs of faculty, staff, and students in the interests of the university. This position is expected to maintain that vibrant, exciting, and engaging learning environment with all lab clients.
- Positive interactivity with clients and provide support to those individuals in an organized and timely fashion.
- Equipment maintenance, management, and inventory.
- Project and ticket tracking.
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop).
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with projects.
- Interactive media development.
- Customer service.
- Other tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in communication, digital media or other applicable areas, or four (4) years of experience.
- Instructional design experience.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff and have effective communication skills.
- Strong grammatical skills and able to produce professional emails for facilitating interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
- In lieu of a degree, any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
- Fluent in Adobe products, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Interactive Creation.
- Positive interactivity with clients and provide support to those individuals in an organized and timely fashion.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop).
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- This position requires a criminal background check.
- This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
This position is salaried and exempt. The normal work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.
-5 p.m. Overtime (weekends and evenings) may be required. The position includes hybrid remote‑work opportunities.

SalaryTarget hiring salary: $59,, commensurate with experience.
