Description JOB SUMMARYThe Coordinator of Student Affairs serves as a key member of Student Affairs, providing operational leadership and programmatic oversight for student governance, co-curricular engagement, and student life. This position is responsible for serving as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator for extension sites, advising the Student Government Association (SGA), overseeing recognized clubs and organizations, and administrative support to the Dean of Student Affairs.
The Coordinator also provides direct supervision to student workers and graduate assistants assigned to the department. This role supports the mission of the University by fostering a student-focused, Christ-centered campus community.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Directly supervise student leaders, student workers and graduate assistants assigned to Student Government.
Provide onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance feedback for supervised personnel.
Foster a professional development environment consistent with the University's mission and values.
Indirect Supervisory Responsibility: N/A
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- May include, but is not limited to the following:
Deputy Title IX Coordinator — Extension Sites
- Serve as a designated Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the institution's extension sites under the direct oversight of the Title IX Coordinator.
- Receive, document, and appropriately route reports of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and related misconduct at assigned extension sites.
- Conduct initial outreach to complainants and provide information regarding available resources, supportive measures, and formal reporting options.
- Coordinate with the Title IX Compliance Director and Coordinator to ensure consistent application of institutional policy and federal regulatory requirements across all sites.
- Participate in Title IX training, policy review, and compliance activities as required.
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with FERPA, Title IX regulations, and institutional policy.
Student Governance & Co-Curricular Engagement
- Serve as the primary advisor to the Student Government Association (SGA), providing guidance on governance, parliamentary procedure, event planning, and student advocacy.
- Oversee the recognition, registration, and compliance processes for all student clubs and organizations.
- Develop and implement training and leadership development opportunities for SGA officers and club leaders.
- Coordinate co-curricular programming that supports student engagement, community building, and institutional mission.
- Maintain accurate records of active organizations, constitutions, rosters, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between student organizations and institutional departments to facilitate event approval and resource allocation.
Administrative & Institutional
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and assessment data related to student organizations and engagement activities.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, strategic planning documents, and accreditation materials as needed.
- Represent Student Affairs at University events, committees, and community engagements as assigned.

ADDITIONAL/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES
All remaining duties are considered "nonessential" within the context of the ADA, which means that the function could be reassigned to another employee in order to allow a disabled individual to hold the position. Alternatively, the manager could try to provide a reasonable accommodation so that the disabled individual could perform the function.
