Lead Pastor Opportunity

Lead Pastor opportunity involves leading and preaching most of the time at a new CE location, either starting from scratch or relaunching a merger. The role includes selecting a location, building a launch team, raising funds, and growing the local church in partnership with CE’s Mission Support team.

Responsibilities:

• Preach 70-85% of services and assist with central campus teaching videos.
• Build and lead a local ministry team.
• Develop and execute outreach and local programs.
• Fundraise to support launch and ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with CE systems for curriculum, technology, and financial reporting.

• Strong preaching and teaching abilities.
• Inspiring leadership and team‑building skills.
• Experience growing a group/service/ministry.
• Fundraising experience or ability to raise funds through personal network.
• Bi‑vocational or full‑time capability.
• College‑level education (degree completion not required).

• Ability to begin planning and fundraising soon; relocation to chosen city not required immediately.
• Successful ministry experience valued; ministry/Bible education may be required.
• Resume should include recent preaching/teaching video, ministry experience with dates, education, contact info, and social media accounts.
