Program Coordinator, Student Recruitment And Outreach
This position is a responsible, professional support position that reports to the Director of Student Recruitment and Retention. The Program Coordinator, Student Recruitment and Outreach, is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment and outreach strategies to increase applications, admissions, and enrollment. The position serves as a primary representative of the College in the community and works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support enrollment growth and student success.
EssentialFunctions/Duties
- Advise prospective students regarding admissions requirements, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, and enrollment procedures.
- Assist prospective students through the application and enrollment process, including application completion and next-step guidance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, community organizations, workforce development agencies, and other educational partners.
- Represent the College at college fairs, high school visits, community events, campus tours, enrollment workshops, open houses, and other recruitment activities.
- Manage assigned recruitment territories and implement strategies designed to increase applications, admissions, and enrollment.
- Utilize Watermark Recruit and other enrollment management systems to track, communicate with, and engage prospective students.
- Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, text, and in-person communications to encourage application completion and enrollment.
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, Advising, the Registrar's Office, and other Student Services departments to support student enrollment and success.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and external stakeholders to support recruitment and outreach efforts.
- Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment campaigns, special enrollment initiatives, and new student onboarding events.
- Analyze recruitment and enrollment data and prepare reports as requested.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with FERPA and College policies and procedures.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support recruitment events and College initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Recruitment and Retention.

- Bilingual skills are a preference.
- This position is an on-campus position located at our campus. (Remote/hybrid options are not available.)
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation to attend student recruitment and outreach events across the county.
- Must have the ability to work proficiently in a busy, multi-office work area.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt well to changes.
- This position is level P14.

Required Education:- Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Three (3) years of professional, exempt student or academic services work experience, including admissions, advising, educational or career services, financial aid, or registration.
- Professional, exempt-level job experience is preferred.
- Spanish/English Bilingual Preferred.
