Bright Imaginations Prep in Lakeland, FL is looking for a passionate and nurturing Paraprofessional to join our Elementary school team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners by supporting their academic, social, and emotional development every single day.

• Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate instruction to elementary-aged students
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional academic assistance
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
• Monitor and redirect student behavior using positive behavior intervention strategies
• Support students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods
• Assist with preparing classroom materials, activities, and learning resources
• Communicate student progress and concerns effectively with lead teachers and staff

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate's degree or 48 college credit hours preferred
• Prior experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
• Patient, dependable, and passionate about early childhood and elementary education
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with lead teachers
• Must pass a background check in accordance with Florida state requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
