Research Scientist (Part-Time OPS)

Research scientist (part‑time) position supports a research scientist focused on wastewater treatment technologies. Anticipated employment period from April 15th, 2026 through December 31st, 2026.

• Conduct literature reviews on wastewater treatment technologies.
• Investigate machine learning enhanced modeling tools for biosolids recycling strategies.
• Conduct modeling research related to industrial wastewater treatment technologies.

• Proficient in essential fate and transport and hydrologic modeling techniques.

• Master's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.

• This position requires a criminal background check, which will include a Level II screening as required by Florida Statutes 435.04.
• This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.

The work schedule for this position will be discussed with the assigned staff member.

Salary of $20,000.
