Licensed Land Surveyor/Survey Project Manager

We're working with a fast growing Engineering Firm in the Orlando area to fill the role of a Licensed Land Surveyor/Survey Project Manager. A Survey Project Manager assists in production and coordination in the survey department. Act as a liaison between the surveying department and new/existing clients and office management. The person will help the Branch Manager with scheduling surveying crews, providing quality assurance for deliverables, and coordination with staff and clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Consult with existing and potential clients
• Prepare proposals in coordination with Branch Manager
• Direct field crews, and surveying CAD technician as well as coordinate with Branch Manager for submittals
• Conduct deed and plan research and review
• Prepare weekly survey crew schedules
• CAD oversight and quality assurance
• Manage and monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Assist in survey field efforts, as needed
• Review, sign and seal of survey deliverables consistent with FL Statutes

Requirements include:

• Florida PSM/PLS Registration
• Experience in land surveying and project management
• Experience with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and similar as well as field experience with Trimble Survey field equipment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Private and Public sector surveying knowledge and experience. FDOT experience is desired but not mandatory.
