U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to support customers by inspecting, maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. The role involves assisting customers inside and outside U-Haul centers, dispatching and returning equipment, and performing routine equipment inspections.

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane tanks (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The role involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear, including masks, goggles, gloves, or shields, may be required.

Physical exertion is required, including periods of standing, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. (assisted or unassisted).
