Senior Financial Analyst

Tampa Maid Foods is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who wants to be more than a spreadsheet builder. This is a true finance business partner role focused on cost transparency, materials pricing, indirect spend, and margin insight.

If you enjoy digging into cost behavior, building structure where there isn’t clarity, and influencing decisions with data, this role is for you.

• Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, and Finance
• Clearly frame cost drivers, risks, and trade-offs
• Proactively identify trends, exposures, and opportunities
• Serve as a trusted advisor on cost behavior and margin impact

• Build visibility around materials pricing and indirect spend
• Strengthen cost controls and governance
• Ensure integrity of cost flow from raw materials to finished goods
• Identify and close gaps in cost data and processes

• Analyze how input cost changes impact finished goods and margins
• Evaluate margin expansion or degradation
• Deliver forward‑looking and scenario‑based analysis
• Support sourcing, operational, and market‑driven decisions

• Develop intuitive cost and margin reporting
• Improve how cost information is presented and consumed

• Assist with close activities
• Support cost‑related variance explanations
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of financial analysis, cost analysis, or operational finance experience

• Food manufacturing experience
• ERP system exposure
• Power BI or similar data visualization tools
