- Underwrite commercial and real estate investment property loans and lines
- Structure commercial and real estate investment loan transactions; prepare loan memoranda and credit packages
- Research and examine credit and collateral risks; assess information to determine creditworthiness of existing and potential borrowers
- Prepare financial spreadsheets, reports, and summaries
- Manage a commercial and real estate investment loan portfolio to include conducting reviews of existing relationships, assessing changes in risk, preparing covenant recommendations to minimize risk, completing renewals of maturing loans
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines.
- Deliver problem solving solutions and perform research as needed.
- Provide technical solutions in support of MID FLORIDA's electronic services.
- Accountable for meeting productivity, quality, and sales goals.
- Professional and efficient communications with all departments promoting synergy.
- Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always.
- Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3 to 5 years of commercial and real estate investment credit underwriting experience in a bank environment
- Understanding of balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements
- Understanding of commercial and real estate investment property lending policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
- A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred; however, we may consider a combination of education and experience for an otherwise well qualified candidate
