We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in various entry‑level positions across primary and specialty clinics, urgent care centers, and an upcoming standalone Emergency Department. Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:00 am–5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $18.22 – $20.96

Position Summary

Under general direction, the Medical Assistant works with patients, families, providers, and staff to promote timely access to needed care, providing daily continuity of care coordination, and coaching patients, families, and caregivers to understand the patient’s care plan and self‑care management responsibilities. Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working conditions may change as needs evolve. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Assists in delivering quality care to providers, patients, patients' families, and caregivers. Be aware and sensitive to cultural differences between patients and co‑workers. Demonstrate personal responsibility and respect for patients, their families, and co‑workers in professional appearance.
  • Performs job‑related duties such as vital signs, phlebotomy, assisting with procedures as trained, and EKG. Engages patients, patients’ families, and their caregivers in understanding and monitoring patient self‑management care plans in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.
  • Collects and documents data related to patient needs.
  • Develops and maintains relationships among patients and their families, care team that supports their access to the medical home. Provides timely communication with patients, makes inquiries, and executes follow‑up actions between disciplines.
  • Participates in continuing professional growth through attendance at workshops and professional in‑services and through independent research and reading to include timely and respectful communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of their assigned specialty's service line practices and standards. Follows departmental SOPs and policies.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with provider directives.
  • Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of exam rooms and stocks necessary supplies or materials as needed throughout the workday.
  • Demonstrates job competencies as applicable. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Serves as a physician liaison. Able to connect providers with internal and external resources.
