Clinical Psychologist - Arizona Burn Center

District Medical Group, Inc. (DMG), a large multi‑specialty faculty practice group, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work in the Valley wise Health Arizona Burn Center in Phoenix. Arizona’s only nationally verified burn center is part of an academic setting with opportunities for participation in research and a multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical and behavioral health professionals who treat thousands of patients each year.

• Participate in daily rounds with the burn care team.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical assessments and therapy.
• Deliver psychological care in a medical setting, including treatment of post‑traumatic and pain conditions.
• Assess and treat individuals of all ages.
• Participate in the education of a variety of learners (medical students, nursing students, PA/NP students, surgical and ED residents, EMTs, military medics, firefighters, etc.).

• Degree in clinical psychology.
• Expertise in health psychology.
• Licensed or eligible for Psychology licensure in Arizona.
• Experience in a medical setting preferred; expertise in post‑traumatic and pain conditions highly valued.
• Clinical research experience beneficial, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A licensed psychologist in the State of Arizona is required prior to beginning employment. Faculty appointment is available at the Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Phoenix.
