IT System Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lakeland, FL that is seeking an IT System Administrator.

The IT System Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting our internal IT environment infrastructure. Some advanced technical experience is necessary, but more importantly, this should be an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely fashion.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

* Manage Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems through a ticketing system

* Help ensure day-to-day operations of Internal IT Infrastructure

* Understand Power Shell scripting, automating, monitoring, and alerting

* Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, Terminal Server, IIS, etc.)

* Administer and troubleshoot database technologies/software

* Perform advanced troubleshooting of Wi-Fi/Network

* May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or equivalent experience

* One to two years of systems administration experience

* Experience with managing Azure VMs and working In the Azure portal

* Experience with AI tools and infrastructure

* Experience with various Microsoft Office products, applications, and services

* Proficient with the O365 portal and Microsoft's Entra

* Experience with Power Shell

* Experience with Microsoft IT infrastructure standards and practices

Physical:

* In-office position with remote options

* Frequently required to sit

* Frequently required to talk or hear

* Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard and mouse

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
