Your Role
Become part of the Labor Management team, designing, building, and delivering a robust application that supports Publix business areas in managing labor activities such as forecasting, time attendance and scheduling. In this role, you will elicit detailed technical requirements, manage backlog items, create user stories, and partner with technical teams and other cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into highly available and scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements sessions and document business/system needs with stakeholders
- Champion product vision, prioritize backlog, and track deliverables for timely completion
- Communicate project and product status to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with analysts to document processes, gather requirements, and identify improvements
- Partner with Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Audit to design secure, reliable solutions
- Develop detailed implementation plans for complex technology solutions
- Diagnose issues and define escalation paths for complex problems
- Oversee delivery processes: system access, data protection, procurement, and vendor engagement
- Align proposed solutions with agreed scope and limitations across teams
- Define acceptance criteria, conduct UAT, and validate deliverables
- Advocate for business needs to ensure solutions meet user and process requirements
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions aligned with strategy
- Provide after-hours deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor resolutions
- Collaborate on BDD scenarios for Mobile/Web UI and automate in-sprint
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in business systems analysis
- 5+ years’ business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
- 5+ years’ business experience analyzing problems and translating into effective solutions
- 3+ years’ experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops or Jira)
- 3+ years’ experience translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
- 3+ years’ experience working in cross-functional teams with technical leads, developers, QA, and UX designers
- Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities
- Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years’ working in an agile/Scrum environment
- 3+ years’ business experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL server, Oracle)
- 7+ years’ business systems analysis experience
- Experience with collaboration tools, like MIRO
- Continued education including additional analytical or business degrees, and/or various technical disciplines
- Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with mobile and web applications
- Experience in facilitating agile scrum events and ceremonies
- Experience using Microsoft Dev Ops to manage agile team backlog and sprints
