Intermediate Business Systems Analyst - Real Estate Financials

The Real Estate Financials team is seeking a highly analytical Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to join a collaborative team focused on modernization of complex real estate systems utilizing a modern tech stack. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, planning, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and drive results with project stakeholders, demonstrate servant leadership qualities and possess a desire to continuously learn.

In this role, you will support the design and development of integrations for modern systems. You will develop detailed technical requirements, create user stories, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. By working closely with product owners, QA, architecture, and engineering teams, you will help deliver secure, compliant solutions that align with business objectives.

• Facilitate requirements sessions and document business/system needs with stakeholders
• Champion product vision, prioritize backlog, and track deliverables for timely completion
• Communicate project and product status to leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with analysts to document processes, gather requirements, and identify improvements
• Partner with Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Audit to design secure, reliable solutions
• Develop detailed implementation plans for complex technology solutions
• Diagnose issues and define escalation paths for complex problems
• Oversee delivery processes: system access, data protection, and vendor engagement
• Align proposed solutions with agreed scope and limitations across teams
• Define acceptance criteria, conduct UAT, and validate deliverables
• Advocate for business needs to ensure solutions meet user and process requirements
• Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions aligned with strategy
• Provide after-hours deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor resolutions
• Leverage AI tools to drive productivity improvements across the systems development lifecycle

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including identifying business processes and supporting process improvements
• 3+ years of experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a distributed environment
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server enterprise database management systems
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops or Jira)
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with the ability to operate effectively within defined roles and responsibilities
• Ability to provide after-hours support during and after application deployment, including researching complex issues, determining root causes, developing workarounds, and coordinating with vendors for resolution
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, QA, UX designers, and product owners
