Janitor - Part Time

The Janitor position is responsible for performing all‑purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks are flexible and you must be able to adapt to client specifications.

Type: Part‑time
Wage: $14.00 / hour
Pay: Weekly, paid on the job training

• Empty and clean all waste containers, remove waste paper and garbage to the designated area, and damp‑wipe containers.
• Empty and clean ash trays, monitor sand urns, and restore sand as required.
• Dust all image frames, charts, graphs, and wall hangings.
• Damp dust ceiling and air‑conditioner diffusers, partition grilles, registers, and other ventilating louvers.
• Vacuum mats and carpeted areas in work spaces, lobbies, and corridors.
• Hand‑dust and clean all office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills, and other flat surfaces.
• Wipe, clean, and buff all metal hardware fixtures and bright work surfaces.
• Appropriately clean and maintain tile floor surfaces as required.
• Damp wipe and buff glass furnishings.
• Clean entry door glass, both indoors and outdoors.
• Remove stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, and around light switches, private entry glass, and dividers.
• Wash, clean, and sterilize all water coolers.
• Sweep private stairways and vacuum if carpeted.
• Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.

• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a janitorial or related position.
