Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate. In this role you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, along with its grounds, systems, and related events.
PayPay starting at $20 an hour, and could increase depending on experience.
ScheduleMonday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities- Follow all company mandated safety policies
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
- Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts & accessories
- Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites
- Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical aspects of Fusion equipment
- Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts
- Follow proper check in and check out procedures for rental equipment and accessories
- Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance
- Follow housekeeping policies
- Operate power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
- Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required; training provided
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic equipment
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing electrical components
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
- Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools
- Experience in operation of power industrial trucks / forklifts
- Ability to work in a shop or field environment
- Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced, challenging customer service environment
- Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment
- Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus
