This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring regular travel between properties to manage on-site work, coordinate contractor teams, and ensure all projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate project timelines, labor, and materials to ensure efficiency and accountability.
- Work closely with property managers and maintenance staff to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain daily project documentation, including checklists, photos, and reports.
- Direct and support multiple contractor crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate whether a task is best completed by in-house contractors or outside vendors based on cost, time, and complexity.
- Inspect completed work for quality control before approving payment or sign-off.
- Enforce compliance with company safety policies, building codes, and local regulations.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules for each property.
- Ensure accurate time tracking and job completion reporting through company systems.
- Prioritize projects strategically to meet property deadlines and occupancy goals.
- Communicate project updates and delays promptly to leadership.
- Track labor, materials, and vendor costs in alignment with approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through smart sourcing and efficient resource use.
- Prevent schedule disruptions by proactively resolving supply or staffing issues.
- 3+ years of experience in construction, renovation, or property project management (hospitality or multifamily preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to lead contractor teams and manage multiple sites simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project tracking and photo documentation tools (e.g., Connect Teams, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel regularly throughout Central and North Florida.
- Experience in extended-stay hospitality or affordable housing environments.
- Knowledge of Florida building codes and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and enforce accountability in the field.
- A results-driven, solution-oriented mindset with attention to both detail and deadlines.
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Mileage and travel reimbursement
- Performance-based bonuses
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off and company holidays
