Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in planning, development, and implementation of programming activities, application systems, and requirements standards
- Apply best practices and appropriately staff and manage the technical team
- Ensure completion of feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs
- Plan and coordinate processes required to provide user applications and systems for business operations
- Support short- and long-term application systems plans aligned with business needs and priorities
- Coach and manage staff performance
- Participate in talent selection, development, and performance management decisions
- Provide training to new team members
- Oversee team priorities and coordinate daily tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- IBMi (iSeries, AS/400) experience is preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship
- Typically manages 2 or more reports
- Operates under policies and procedures with limited oversight
- Experience overseeing team priorities and coordinating daily tasks
- Experience with performance coaching, talent selection, development, and performance management
- Experience providing mentorship, guidance, and training to team members
Demonstrates extensive experience in overseeing application systems planning and development, with a strong focus on team leadership, performance management, and coaching. Proficient in managing technical teams and aligning application systems with business needs.
