• Able to drive the forklift, jockey, and semi-trailer, all in-house only.
• Be prepared to begin work at the designated start time.
• Know, follow, and understand all company, job, and safety procedures, training, and policies, including ISO procedures, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and SDS for right to know.
• Perform the essential functions of this position.
• Safely conduct operations and identify and report any potential safety hazards to a Shift Leader, HS&E Coordinator, or other management personnel.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Treat other employees with dignity and respect.
• Maintain a clean, “tour-ready” work area.
• Ask questions to develop a clear understanding of training.
• Follow verbal instructions and retain and act on learned knowledge.
• Be motivated to work and willing to ask questions for further understanding of the job.
• Work overtime as required to support the continuity of operations at the plant.
• Perform any related duties as directed by the Operations Leader or the Production Shift Leader.
• Attend meetings, including safety, communications, benefits, educational, and team meetings.
• Transfer formulated products to drums, label them, and complete required paperwork.
• Gain an understanding of the production schedule and processes and how they relate to work assignments and special instructions.
• Continue to attend meetings such as safety, communications, benefits, training, and other team meetings.
• Be able to see computer screen information and perform accurate keyboarding to perform this job.
• Keep equipment and tools neat and put them back in their rightful place.
• Perform housekeeping while on the job and check to make sure all is cleaned as work is performed.
• Receive approval for hose change and notify leadership of any mechanical or plant-related issues.
