Production Operator - Formulator

Job Title

Able to drive the forklift, jockey, and semi-trailer, all in-house only.

Be prepared to begin work at the designated start time.

Know, follow, and understand all company, job, and safety procedures, training, and policies for the following; but not limited to: ISO procedures (to maintain quality and customer satisfaction), On the Job Training, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and SDS for right to know.

Perform the essential functions of this position.

Safely conduct operations and identify and report any potential safety hazards to a Shift Leader, HS&E Coordinator, or other management personnel.

Wear all required personal protective equipment.

Treat other employees with dignity and respect.

Maintain a clean, "tour-ready" work area.

Ask questions to develop a clear understanding of their training.

Follows verbal instructions. Able to retain and act on learned knowledge.

Motivated to work. Willing to ask questions for further understanding of job.

Work overtime as required to support the continuity of operations at the plant.

Perform any other related duties as directed by the Operations Leader or the Production Shift Leader.

Attends meetings; including such, but not limited to Safety, Communications, Benefits, Educational, and Team.

Transfers formulated products to drums, labels, and completes required paperwork.

Gains understanding of production schedule and processes of how it relates to work assignments & special instructions.

Able to see computer screen information and perform accurate keyboarding to perform this job.

Keep equipment & tools neat and put back in their rightful place.

Performs housekeeping while on the job and checks to make sure all is cleaned as you work.

Receives approval for hose change, etc. Notifies leadership of any mechanical or plant-related issues.
