Aerotek is looking for mechanically inclined individuals to join our clients assembly team, assembling heavy-duty industrial equipment used throughout North America. Our clients equipment works in aggregate mines, recycling facilities, biomass operations, mulch processing facilities, and other demanding industrial environments.
Pay: $19 - $24 an hour
Shift: 6am to 4pm / Monday to Friday

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll help assemble and prepare:
- Industrial conveyor systems
- Material handling equipment
- Crushers and screeners
- Feeders and hopper systems
- Biomass and recycling equipment
- Custom-engineered processing systems
Every project is different. Every machine is built to perform in tough, real-world conditions.
What You'll Do- Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Assemble mechanical systems, structures, and components
- Install bearings, shafts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, guards, belts, and hydraulic components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot fitment and assembly issues
- Work closely with welders, fabricators, painters, and engineering personnel
- Perform quality checks throughout the build process
- Help prepare equipment for testing and shipment
Experience in any of the following is highly valued:
- Mechanical assembly
- Heavy equipment repair
- Diesel or agricultural equipment
- Industrial maintenance
- Conveyor systems
- Construction equipment
- Millwright work
- Manufacturing or fabrication environments
- Automotive or fleet maintenance
- Hydraulic systems
Don't have experience in all of these? That's okay. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn can be just as valuable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
