The Manufacturing Veteran Manager Trainee will participate in a structured training program under the guidance of an experienced Plant Manager. This role is designed to develop future plant leadership by providing hands‑on experience in plant operations, personnel management, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and demonstrate the operation and function of all plant equipment within the manufacturing process
- Perform and understand all plant and administrative roles (excluding commercial driving positions)
- Provide operational support by filling in for short‑term staffing needs as required
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret operational reports
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
- Willingness and ability to relocate upon successful completion of the training program (typically 18‑24 months)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree required
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and strict quality standards
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated leadership capability and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snow
- Work environment includes exposure to industrial materials such as cement dust, fuels, lubricants, and electrical systems
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and respiratory protection in designated areas
- Physical requirements include climbing stairs and ladders, ability to lift 80 pounds and performing tasks requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterity
