This role requires a machine operator who can follow written and verbal directions, communicate effectively, analyze problems, solve high‑school level math, and use basic hand tools. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in manufacturing, be able to lift up to 35 lbs. continuously and 45 lbs. occasionally, stand for up to four hours, perform repetitive bending and stretching, and work overtime or on weekends as needed.

• Ability to take and follow both written and verbal directions and communicate those directions to others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of analysis, problem solving, and creativity.
• Capability to solve mathematical problems at the high‑school level.
• Basic hand‑tool skills.
• 1+ years in manufacturing role working as a machine operator.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis and 45 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Reports directly to the Supervisor and works closely with all other production employees.
• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Reads and interprets diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
• Coaches and helps train other members of the team.
• Plans and prepares for upcoming jobs.
• Maintains complete understanding of all machines, including control panels, buttons, and switches.
• Troubleshoots all problems with the machine run.
• Provides feedback to the supervisor and production manager when requested on employee performance, training needs of the shift, and quality issues.
• Communicates and implements company/plant policies and programs.
• Provides guidance for the team as needed.
• Ensures awareness of and adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
