Job SummaryExperienced RN/LPN – Pediatric Home Care (Urgent Cases) located in Lakeland, FL. We need compassionate nurses with urgent case experience, especially trach/vent care. Flexible scheduling with day, night, weekend, and PRN shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for each patient.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and report changes in patient condition to the nurse supervisor.
- Consult with physicians regarding changes to patient care plans and document all modifications.
- Mentor and coach new employees during orientation and ongoing patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and health maintenance.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs as requested.
- Adhere to all compliance, ethics, and confidentiality requirements.
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with pediatric or home‑care settings.
- Trach/vent experience required for high‑acuity cases.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance (if required).
- Current CPR certificate and valid state background screenings (HepB, TB).
- Clear background check and child‑abuse/FBI screening (as applicable by state).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
