Job Summary

Experienced RN/LPN – Pediatric Home Care (Urgent Cases) located in Lakeland, FL. We need compassionate nurses with urgent case experience, especially trach/vent care. Flexible scheduling with day, night, weekend, and PRN shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients in their homes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for each patient.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and report changes in patient condition to the nurse supervisor.
  • Consult with physicians regarding changes to patient care plans and document all modifications.
  • Mentor and coach new employees during orientation and ongoing patient care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and health maintenance.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs as requested.
  • Adhere to all compliance, ethics, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Florida RN or LPN license.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with pediatric or home‑care settings.
  • Trach/vent experience required for high‑acuity cases.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance (if required).
  • Current CPR certificate and valid state background screenings (HepB, TB).
  • Clear background check and child‑abuse/FBI screening (as applicable by state).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
