Wound Care Nurse

Facility: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation

Location: Lakeland, Florida

Position: Wound Care RN

Schedule: Full-Time 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in wound care to join our dedicated nursing team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about wound management and thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused long-term care environment.

• Assess, treat, and monitor a variety of wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, ostomies, and trauma-related conditions
• Perform routine skin assessments and maintain thorough, accurate documentation
• Administer prescribed wound care treatments and educate residents and families on care plans
• Identify and mitigate risk factors for pressure ulcers and infection
• Support wound healing through evaluation of residents’ nutritional and hydration needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care strategies, including pain management

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  , preferably in long-term care or wound care
• Strong knowledge of wound care protocols, regulatory standards, and clinical documentation
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
