Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, new graduate or experienced, to join a highly respected neonatal practice at Lakeland Regional Health, one of Florida’s premier healthcare centers.
ResponsibilitiesPractice in the only Level III NICU in the region, housed within a state‑of‑the‑art Women and Children’s Pavilion designed to support the most fragile patients and the clinicians who care for them.
Practice Highlights- Level III NICU with 30 private rooms
- Average daily census of 25 NICU patients
- Approximately 4,500 annual deliveries
- Attend high‑risk deliveries and provide coverage in a 30‑bed well‑baby nursery
- 24‑hour shifts, averaging 7–8 shifts per month for excellent work‑life balance
- Collaborative team of 4 neonatologists and 4 NNPs
- On‑site MFM support, pediatric surgeons, and multiple pediatric subspecialties affiliated with Nemours
- Exceptional new graduates encouraged to apply—robust support and mentorship available

- Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU

- Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
- Minimum of a master’s degree
