Position: Evening Supervisor (RN/LPN)
Facility: Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Lakeland, FL
Shift: Full-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 per year
Join Our TeamWedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Supervisor (RN/LPN) to lead our nursing team during the 3PM–11PM shift. Key Responsibilities- Ensure minimum staffing levels are maintained and post required nurse staffing data
- Oversee completion of Resident Assessment Instruments (RAI) for significant status changes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility
- Support the development of a comprehensive dementia care program
- Monitor census accuracy, including admissions, discharges, LOAs, and bed holds
- Assist with safe and efficient resident transfers and discharges
- Coordinate insurance pre‑certifications and recertifications
- Interpret and enforce policies with staff, residents, and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on policy development and updates
- Support facility surveys and regulatory inspections
- Audit clinical documentation for compliance and accuracy
- Participate in “triple check” billing and ensure completion of charge sheets
- Complete all required administrative and clinical documentation
- Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Florida
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of long‑term care regulations and age‑specific care practices
- Proven ability to supervise, make decisions, and lead a team effectively
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families
- Familiarity with nursing standards, medical practices, and applicable laws
