Position Overview

Family First Home Care is hiring experienced RNs and LPNs for multiple urgent pediatric home care cases in the Babson Park, FL area. These ongoing, high-acuity assignments require consistent coverage and care for medically complex pediatric patients, including tracheostomy, ventilator, catheter, and seizure management. The primary schedule involves Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (5:00p–5:00a) with flexible coverage options.

• Provide one‑on‑one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and Family First policies.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for each patient.
• Consult with physicians regarding changes to patient care plans and report all modifications to the supervising nurse.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on care procedures and health management.
• Participate in Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities as requested.
• Mentor and orient new employees during patient‑specific orientations.
• Adhere to all compliance, ethical, and confidentiality requirements.

• Active Florida RN or LPN license (or a valid multi‑state license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of direct nursing experience, with preferred experience in pediatric or home‑care settings.
• Trach/ventilator experience required; experience with seizure management and catheter care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (if applicable) and clear background screening.
• Current CPR certification and HBA, TB screening per state regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
