- Summons and prepares patient for office visit.
- Assists Physician or PA with medical office procedures.
- Administers medications, including injections, documents meds given or prescribed by ordering provider as required by specialty.
- Adheres to nursing policy and procedure when documenting in patient’s record.
- Attends support staff and department meetings to keep informed of employee issues and concerns as well as organizational updates.
- Maintains confidentiality of clinic materials.
- Provides and reinforces patient instruction and education as indicated.
- Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policies and procedures.
- Prepares for daily business. Maintains charts, prepares new charts and keeps information current. Helps record and obtains results for cultures, lab tests, and radiology results per office protocol.
- Maintains the integrity of the office.
- Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policies and procedures.
- Schedules x-rays, lab tests, process referrals, admissions to hospital.
- Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
- Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage.

Required
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida state license. CPR certification. ACLS & PALS required within first 90 days of employment. IV certification required within 90 days of employment.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Preferred two (2) years of experience in ER, critical care, urgent care, or Hospital setting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
