Wound Care RN/LPN – Full-Time

Facility: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation
Position: Wound Care RN/LPN
Location: Lakeland, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience

Join Our Team as a Wound Care RN/LPN!

Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care RN/LPN to join our nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about wound management, skin integrity, and providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and monitor various types of wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, ostomies, and trauma-related wounds

  • Perform routine skin assessments and identify changes in skin integrity

  • Provide wound treatments according to physician orders, care plans, and facility protocols

  • Monitor healing progress and identify signs of infection or complications

  • Develop and implement interventions to prevent pressure injuries and skin breakdown

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Educate residents, families, and nursing staff on wound prevention and treatment

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, and other interdisciplinary team members

  • Monitor nutritional and hydration needs that support wound healing

  • Assist with pain management related to wound care

  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies

Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered Florida RN or LPN license

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

  • Wound care, skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of wound care, skin integrity, infection prevention, and clinical documentation

  • Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize effectively

  • Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused
