Lakeland, FL | Full-Time Contract | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week | $25–$28/hour
Ready to Put Your Calibration Skills to Work?

Join TMI Calibration as an Onsite Technical Service (OTS) Calibration Technician and help ensure the accuracy and reliability of critical measurement equipment. You’ll work directly at our client’s location, applying your calibration experience in a hands‑on environment while expanding your technical skills and working alongside engineering and technical teams.

This position is currently based in Lakeland, FL, with the contract running through the end of June 2027. There is potential for the position to transition to TMI’s Tampa laboratory after the contract.

Established in 1991, TMI Calibration is an ISO accredited calibration company providing automated and onsite calibration, clean room certifications, and customized measurement solutions across the U.S.

What You’ll Do
  • Calibrate primary, secondary, and working measurement standards.
  • Generate accurate calibration reports and certificates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot calibration equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on calibration procedures, processes, and improvements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow established safety protocols.
  • Support audits by providing technical guidance and calibration expertise.
  • Contribute to a professional, quality-focused onsite service environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience calibrating temperature, pressure, electrical, dimensional, or other precision measurement equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, quality-focused work.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and customers.
  • Preferred: DOD, PMEL, or military calibration experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
