RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensures all crew members wow customers through personal contact. Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience, ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
- Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
- Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure items are quickly placed on the sales floor.
- Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service, addressing urgent issues.
- Manages the opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth daily operation.
- Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures to improve performance.
- Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
- Partners with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
- Performs store maintenance including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

QUALIFICATIONS- High School Graduate or equivalent
- College experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Frequently operate cash register
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to heights of 5-10 feet
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on the sales floor
- Frequently communicate with customers on the phone and in person, and with managers and coworkers; exchange accurate information in these situations
- Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and moving to/from the stock room
- Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and may include overnight shifts and travel as required
- Identify and interpret email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
