Description

The purpose of this position is to support the Produce Buyers, Category Managers (CM), Retail Coordinators (RC), and Retail Improvement Specialists (RIS) in an effort to ensure that stores are provided adequate amounts of product in a timely manner to satisfy customer needs.

* ensuring produce orders are as accurate as possible to meet retail and customer needs

* creating and updating purchase orders (p.o.s) in Marwood

* creating and maintaining new and existing items in PIMS to ensure data integrity

* performing miscellaneous office duties

* maintain and post Daily messages for the stores

* create/update Store Surveys in CHIP

* create/update ad information in PPMS

* resolving invoice issues iTrade for vendors

* communicate with vendors as needed

Additional Information

Work Hours:

* 26 Hour work week (4 days)

* Rotating

Schedule:

Days and times

* Rotating 3-day weekends

* Monday - Friday between 8:00am and 3:00PM

* Work occasional weekends

* Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm or Sunday from 7:30am to 1:30pm

* Work most holidays (except for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma, or its equivalent

* knowledge of general office practices and procedures

* knowledge of basic math

* knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

* accurate computer typing skills (at least 40 wpm)

* data entry skills

* verbal and written communication skills

* ability to multi-task

* ability to work independently

* ability to organize and prioritize information and tasks

* good human relation skills

* computer skills

* willingness to work a flexible schedule, including working weekends, overtime, and extended hours, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates degree in a business-related field

* 1-year of experience in a retail store or in a purchasing related position

* preferred knowledge of PIMS, Marwood, Publix Promotion Management System (PPMS), CHIP, and EMC2/ Host mail
