Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Operations
  • Open and close the store in absence of management, including system start‑ups, cash handling and ensuring the floor and stockroom are ready for business.
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe and provide change to cash registers.
  • Hold and securely guard store keys for opening and closing duties.
  • Coach teammates on vendor ordering and back‑door delivery processes.
  • Accurately register all sales, scan errors, price verifications, voids and handle any price changes.
  • Assist with order exceptions, reverse logistics and inventory displays.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and oversee basic department pricing and signage.
  • Assist with bookkeeping including cash reports, counts, ledgers and bill payments.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, orderly appearance and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with food item separation, stock rotation and ensuring first‑in, first‑out compliance.
  • Use store systems and equipment proficiently.
  • Support pharmacy out window as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
  • Perform bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
  • Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and comply with all company policies.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as delegated.
Customer Experience
  • Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to deliver a positive experience.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with team members, including courteous habits and Walgreens service traits.
Training & Personal Development
  • Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by the manager.
Communications
  • Act as liaison between management and non‑management team members, communicating tasks when management is absent.
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Salary Range: $17.00 – $20.00 / hr
