Multi-Unit Retail Leadership | Premium Home Furnishings
A leading premium retail organization is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Sales to oversee multiple showroom locations throughout Florida's Gulf Coast region. This individual will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing leadership teams, maintaining operational consistency, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across the market.
The ideal candidate is a proven multi-unit retail leader with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, driving revenue growth, and developing future leaders. Regular travel throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area south to Fort Myers is required.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and support Store Managers, sales teams, and showroom leadership across multiple locations
- Drive regional sales growth, profitability, and overall business performance
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including sales volume, close rates, average ticket, customer satisfaction, and team productivity
- Conduct regular store visits, leadership coaching, and performance reviews
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing sales and leadership talent
- Ensure consistency in showroom operations, staffing, scheduling, and customer experience standards
- Support consultative selling and in-home design sales initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic growth and expansion efforts
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support teams and business objectives
- 7+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience
- Proven success leading high-volume retail sales organizations
- Experience managing Store Managers and multiple retail locations
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to drive results
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with in furniture, home furnishings, interior design, premium retail, or consultative sales environments preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Greater Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida markets
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Base salary starting at $150,000+, negotiable based on experience
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
