Position: Bakery RBU, Hourly Support 2, Product Business Development - Lakeland

Retail Business Unit Coordinator

Serve as a point of contact within the RBU for our retail stores and suppliers. Must provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to our customers. They will answer questions, address concerns, and handle other retail requests.

Maintains and verifies all item and system related transactions while following the established guidelines and procedures in the following systems: PIMS, Marwood, PPMS, SIR, CHIP, FLEX, as well as Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.

Develop, edit, and post retail and vendor communication.

Complete data entry functions within various Publix systems (MARWOOD, PIMS, PPMS, SIR and FLEX

Manage and maintain accurate item level data in Publix system (MARWOOD, PIMS, PPMS, SIR and FLEX

Provides support to our Category Management and Buying teams through the research and resolution of some issues (missing deliveries, damages).

Provide general clerical support to Category Manager and Buyer team (data entry, filing, answer phones, check voice mails, faxes, and other general office tasks).

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in all communications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree (AA or BS)
  • Knowledge of Publix systems (PIMS, MARWOOD, SIR, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of Retail operations.
