Member Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provides member service, maintains checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, guides members regarding self-service technology, processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies, and follows safety standards including safety sweeps.
• Handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations to facility management, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, assists with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment.
• Monitors and secures Sam's Club assets, maintains paperwork and logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
• Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning opportunities.
• Zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, and handles returns properly.
• Applies company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and uses the Open Door Policy in business processes.
• Completes work assignments by prioritizing using policies, data, resources, and collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of hourly premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
