Position SummaryAs a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What You’ll Do- Be a Team Member – Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, tracking goods, maintaining in‑stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Be an Expert – Maintains an in‑depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner – Drives the business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence; plans for profitability; maintains a work area according to company policies; ensures quality and standards for high‑volume meat products; eliminates waste; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area; models high‑quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality; interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job‑related duties.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans and applies the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks, communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if the position is offered.
Meat Processing Area experience.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
