Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy Convenience store gas station. As a critical member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of service and quality associated with Nick & Moes.
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring high professionalism and customer service.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering products as needed to meet customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions.
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and increase store visibility.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Analyze store performance metrics and develop strategies to improve sales and profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the convenience store or gas station industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to selling tobacco, alcohol, and gasoline is a plus.
- Food service experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business management is preferred.
