Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidates possess a robust background in construction, demonstrating proficiency in reading blueprints. They are adept at identifying areas for improvement in projects and accurately estimating the quantity of materials required to complete them.

These candidates will possess strong sales skills, a construction background, and the ability to effectively communicate and successfully promote our products and services.

Hours : 7:00AM - 3:30PM / 4:00pm

Duties
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Recognize competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Seek new opportunities in the field by visiting new job sites and calling on contractors in the field.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
  • Provide ongoing account management support, addressing any client concerns or inquiries promptly.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read Blueprint and able to do take offs
  • Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales roles, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Have reliable transportation for sales
  • Experience in business development and account management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong background in construction.
