The Account Executive – Domestic serves as a strategic business partner to customers, driving profitable growth through relationship development, market expansion, and customer-focused solutions. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities across assigned markets.
Success in this position requires a strong commitment to customer engagement and a highly visible presence in the marketplace. The Account Executive is expected to maintain consistent customer engagement and build meaningful relationships with key decision-makers to strengthen partnerships, identify opportunities, and deliver exceptional service.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, consultative sales professional who combines business acumen, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and position Quirch Foods as a preferred partner within the industry.
Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Relationship Management- Maintain strong customer relationships with key customers, buyers, category managers, and decision-makers through in-person visits, virtual meetings, international travel, and industry events, as appropriate for the assigned market.
- Engage regularly with customers to understand business needs, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing market insights, product recommendations, and business solutions that support customer success.
- Maintain a visible presence within assigned markets through customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Possess strong knowledge of international trade practices, logistics, export documentation, and cross-cultural communication.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within assigned territories and customer segments.
- Create and execute strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, product expansion, and market penetration.
- Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for new item introductions, promotional programs, and category growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to develop growth strategies and maximize sales performance.
- Manage all aspects of assigned customer accounts, including pricing, profitability, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead business reviews and planning discussions with customers to align on goals, opportunities, and performance expectations.
- Monitor account performance and proactively address challenges while identifying opportunities to enhance value and strengthen partnerships.
Ensure successful execution of sales initiatives, promotions, and business development plans. - Maintain ownership of customer account health by supporting timely accounts receivable collections, resolving payment issues, and partnering with Finance as needed.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence.
- Communicate customer insights and market intelligence to support business planning and decision-making.
- Support issue resolution and service recovery efforts while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Quirch Foods’ products, capabilities, and value proposition throughout the marketplace.
- Leverage PowerBI, Export and Import Database, CRM platforms, and other digital tools to analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, track KPIs, manage customer relationships, and drive sales effectiveness.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently pursue new business opportunities to support revenue growth and market expansion.
