Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol – Lakeland, FL.

Pay Rate: $18.83 / Hour.

• Tue: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thu: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and assist with visitor processing, package awareness, and/or escort support in accordance with location protocols.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and management, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following post orders for after-hours access, incident response, and/or facility checks.

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
